Pierre Clerc-Renaud is appointed the president of EADS Supply and Services

Pierre Clerc-Renaud has become the president of EADS Supply and Services, Inc., the EADS purchasing group that works with U.S. suppliers of systems, components and other hardware.
This wholly-owned business unit of EADS North America oversees the acquisition of U.S.-manufactured Tier 2 equipment for the production needs of numerous EADS operations worldwide – including Airbus, Eurocopter, EADS Socata and EADS EFW.
“Pierre Clerc-Renaud brings 30-plus years of experience with EADS and its founding companies, providing the management, strategy and export expertise to further our growth of EADS Supply and Services,” said Ralph D. Crosby, Jr., EADS North America’s Chairman and CEO. “This business unit’s role is increasingly important as EADS expands its relationships with the U.S. supplier base.”
Located in Rockville, Maryland, EADS Supply and Services regularly works with more than 40 suppliers from coast-to-coast, acquiring equipment that ranges from cockpit instrumentation and avionics to systems and cabling. Its headquarters includes a warehouse for the stocking and storage of the U.S.-made products it acquires.
Before his appointment as EADS Supply and Services’ president, Clerc-Renaud served as the Vice President of Eurocopter Military Helicopters, and Deputy Capture Team Lead in EADS’ competitive bid for the Light Utility Helicopter (LUH). In EADS North America’s winning bid to produce the U.S. Army’s UH-72A Light Utility Helicopter, he also was involved in the selection and qualification of the program’s industrial team.
Previously, Clerc-Renaud was the Vice President – Strategy, Analysis and Planning for EADS North America. In this capacity, he was responsible for setting strategy in applying EADS products to U.S. market needs, teaming with other U.S. players to position the firm for winning new business, and developing the holding company’s portfolio through mergers and acquisitions.
He also has held numerous board positions at various EADS North America business units.
