EADS-NA Defense Security and Systems Solutions wins contract with USAF communications agency

San Antonio, Texas, 02 April 2007

EADS North America Defense Security and Systems Solutions, Inc. has been awarded a $3.4 million contract to provide certification and accreditation support services for the Air Force Communications Agency.

“We are pleased to extend our long-term relationship with the U.S. Air Force Communications Agency,” said Johnnie Hernandez, the company’s Chairman, President and CEO. “This newest contract underscores our ability to deliver cutting-edge services and to protect computer and communications networks for the military and other customers.”

Support services to be provided to the U.S. Air Force Communications Agency under this contract include a wide variety of information assurance (IA) procedures and deliverables that satisfy the requirements of existing and emerging Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force certification and accreditation processes, public law and other applicable regulatory guidance.
