EADS North America names ARC IAI newly integrated operating unit, part of EADS TELECOM North America

San Antonio, Texas, May 09, 2003

EADS North America, part of EADS, the world’s second largest aerospace and defense company, announced today during a press meeting, the integration of the ARC Information Assurance Institute (ARC IAI) as a new operating unit. ARC IAI is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas and is a leading provider of Information Assurance services and training, providing security solutions to governmental agencies and commercial organizations worldwide.

Mr. Crosby, the Chairman and CEO of EADS North America, has embarked on a nationwide tour of EADS North America operating units to meet the managers and employees of the holding company’s newly integrated subsidiaries in the United States. It is part of the strategy of EADS North America to create a stronger alignment with these units, which now includes ARC IAI.

During a press meeting at ARC IAI on Friday, Mr. Crosby said, “I am pleased to see that ARC IAI is continuing to grow its business, particularly through its relationship with the U.S. Air Force. That ARC IAI’s personnel has increased from 30 to 63 over the last 15 months, speaks for itself. Through ARC IAI, EADS North America is committed to growing its American business and contributing to its local communities.”
